A stimulating, energising and refreshing oil with a fresh, herbaceous, camphorous aroma.

Description

Rosemary essential oil is rich in cineol which gives it a strong and clearing eucalyptus-type aroma.

It is a stimulating oil used to energise and focus the mind and is renowned for enhancing mental energy, focus, concentration and memory. It also helps with physical energy and reducing fatigue.

Rosemary also supports circulation and soothes joints and aching muscles after exercise. It also is useful for detox, respiratory health and hair health.

Historically, rosemary was burnt in French hospitals during epidemics for its antiseptic properties.

Rosemary essential oil is one of the ingredients in our ‘Energise’ blend, to help you feel energised, vitalised and ready for anything. And in our ‘Joint & Muscle Ease’, to help soothe and relieve everyday aches and pains.

In skincare, rosemary essential oil is wonderful for toning the skin. It is also a very popular hair treatment oil for hair growth and a healthy scalp, often blended with castor oil and / or argan oil.

Rosemary essential oil is astringent, antimicrobial, antiseptic and fungicidal.

Also available in our Energising and Revitalising set.
